Job Description

We are searching for talented and professional community outreach personnel to maintain all community outreach activities. You will represent the company and work with the management team to implement initiatives that increase company visibility within the surrounding community.

You need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and community-driven to take on this exciting role. This position requires someone equipped with a positive attitude and readiness to be a team player.

Responsibilities:

Attending pre-assigned community locations to conduct outreach activities.
Maintaining a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities.
Setting up tables and tents in the community and at community events while distributing flyers and giveaways.
Serving coffee, tea, or juice to community members at outreach locations.
Signing consumers up for home care services and providing information about available resources.
Going door-to-door to engage with community members and discuss home care services for them or
their loved ones.

Requirements:

1 year of experience in communications, marketing, business, or related fields.
Outstanding written communication and presentation skills.
Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple task at a time.
Ability to work in various community locations and adapt to different environments.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field “Preferred”.
Proven experience in community outreach or a similar role.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree “Preferred”.
At least 1-3 years of relevant professional experience.

Language Skills:

Proficiency in English required.
Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable and may be required based on the community served.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to travel locally to attend community events as needed.
Ability to set up tables, tents, and other materials at outreach locations.

Work Environment:

Primarily community-based with travel to assigned outreach locations.
May occasionally require evening or weekend work to attend events.
Work may take place outdoors at various community locations.
Fast-paced and collaborative work environment.
